2. Information We Collect
We collect no personal information. Specifically:
Subscription Data (stored on your device only)
When you add a subscription, the following data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
- Subscription name (e.g., "Netflix")
- Price and currency
- Renewal date and billing cycle
- Category label
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us under any circumstances.
Pro Status (stored in Keychain)
If you purchase Renewa Pro, your purchase status is stored in your device's Keychain — Apple's secure credential storage. This persists across app reinstalls. We do not have access to your Keychain data.
Notification Permissions
If you enable notifications, Renewa schedules local notifications on your device for upcoming renewals. These notifications are processed entirely on-device. We do not use push notification services or remote servers.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- No name, email address, or contact details
- No location data
- No device identifiers or advertising IDs
- No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- No crash reports or performance diagnostics sent to us
- No bank account or financial account information (Renewa uses manual entry only)
4. Third-Party Services
Renewa uses Apple platform services only:
Apple App Store & StoreKit 2
In-app purchases (Renewa Pro) are processed entirely by Apple. When you make a purchase, Apple handles payment processing and provides us with a transaction receipt. We receive no financial or personal data about you from Apple — only a verification that the purchase was valid.

Apple SwiftData
Local data persistence is handled by Apple's SwiftData framework. Data is stored in your app's sandboxed container on your device and is subject to Apple's iOS security model (encryption at rest, app sandboxing).
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored locally on your device within the app's sandboxed storage. It is protected by iOS's built-in encryption (hardware-level encryption when your device is locked). We cannot access, view, modify, or delete your data — only you can.
Your Pro purchase status is stored in the iOS Keychain, which provides additional security guarantees including protection against app-level data extraction.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any user data to third parties — because we don't collect or hold any user data in the first place.
7. Children's Privacy
Renewa does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no user accounts, no data submission forms, and no communication features. It is safe for use by all ages as a local-only utility app.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- To delete your data: Delete the Renewa app from your device. All SwiftData entries are permanently removed.
- To reset Pro status: Pro status stored in Keychain can be removed via the Settings screen in the app ("Restore Purchases" is used to re-validate; the Keychain entry is managed by iOS).
- We hold no copies of your data and cannot delete it on your behalf — nor do we need to.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under laws such as GDPR (European Union) or CCPA (California). Because we collect no personal data, most provisions of these laws do not apply. However, we are committed to transparency:
- Right to access: Your data is on your device — you already have full access.
- Right to erasure: Delete the app to erase all data instantly.
- Right to portability: Your data is in a local database on your device.
- No profiling: We perform no automated decision-making on any user data.
10. International Users
Renewa is available globally. Since no data is transmitted to servers, there are no international data transfers to disclose. The app processes all data locally within your own device, subject to the laws of your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
